Not actually the "B3". That's the organ. But a Leslie with a guitar ... yes. Several pros have used them ... Peter Frampton and others. I have three different Leslie speaker/amps that I've used with a guitar. One is a Leslie 825 (normally used with a Hammond Porta-B). The 825 does not have the upper rotary horn. It only has the rotating drum for the 15" speaker. Works fine with a guitar as well and is often referred to as "The Guitar Leslie". Another is a Leslie 760 that is equipped with a two channel, Leslie Combo preamp. The preamp is a large floor pedal with two 1/4-inch input jacks, two level controls and footswitches for rotation stop-slow-fast. The 760 has both the upper rotating horn driver and the lower rotating drum on the lower, 15-inch speaker. With two channels, two guitars or instruments may be used with the Leslie at the same time. More if you use a mixer. B3 organ players look down their noses at a Leslie 760 because it is solid state rather than tube driven, but it is a powerful sucker. I think it's 100 watts as opposed to a typical Leslie 122 that has 20 or 30 watts. The third is one of the newer Leslie/Suzuki 2101 units. It is a very versatile and programmable Leslie speaker. It has three amp sections. One is a stereo amp driving a pair of fixed 5-1/4 inch woofers and a pair of fixed tweeters. The third amp drives a rotating horn with stop, slow and fast speeds. The slow and fast RPM speeds are programmable as well. I've used all three with keyboards, guitars and even vocals. Makes for a different and cool sound, especially when mixed with other amps or PA systems. RCE

Thanks Richard. When I read the guy had a "Hammond RT3" for some reason my brain glitched and that's where I fouled up. When I think Hammond I automatically think of "B-3" and yes, he does mention the Leslie.
Sorry for my confused state, and thanks for the clarification...

I remember back in yesteryear hooking my guitar up to a Leslie 145(?) that my organ player had.(We didn't call them "keyboard" players back in those days. Pre-synthesizer) I was using an old Vox Super Lynx Deluxe, basically a 335 copy with single coil strat-type pickups. Played "Badge" through it. What a killer sound! Clapton, look out!

I imagine that could sound interesting. I wonder if there's any Youtube links to people playing guitar through a Leslie?
