I have been playing for 35 years and am a veteran of several tours and hundreds of recording sessions. I can sight read (both notation and tab) as well as sight transpose. I'm conservatory and Berklee College educated . Former college music theory teacher for Curry College. I'm endorsed by Dean Markley strings and have been considered for endorsements by many other companies including EMG Pickups, Seymour Duncan, Fender, etc. Very good chops (2 do 3 hours a technical practice daily) and good ears (I'm the transcriber for the studio I work at). Worked as a staff musician for several record labels. I've recorded with many heavy hitters including Jeff Porcaro and Denny Dias of Steely Dan as well as members of James Taylor's and Celine Dion's bands, The Mighty Bosstones, The Joe Perry Project etc. Serious pro gear, Mesa Boogie, Marhshall JCM800's from the 80's, Les Paul Customs and Flame tops from the early 70's, pre WWII era acoustics guitars, Ampeg Amps, etc. Well versed in many different styles and can fingerpick and play slide if needed, no vocals however.
