Cool looking guitar, brings a bit of sound even before played. Not only cool, it's pricey. The Vintage Pricing guide puts it's value between $2,900 and $3,600.

Follow up on the Dove:
I received an email from a guy who owns a 1968 Gibson Dove. He told me that you need to air out the case once in a while if you store the guitar in it for lengthy periods of time. Apparently the pickguard outgasses over time and can actually generate enough gas within the case to cause spontaneous combustion.
What fun, these old guitars.

Well... I would drill some vent holes in the case. You never know.
