Hi
I have a 68' tele refinished in Daphne Blue by Lay's in Ohio. Maple Cap neck, a great player, original except for tone pot, pickguard (it has a leather guard), and input jack is recent. Everything else is original, and I have the ashtray bridge and original piece of crap input jack. I don't have the original pickguard.
I brought this down to Re--Tunes a couple of weeks ago as I have picked up and traded a couple of things there in the past six months or so. Great place. There was no deal struck at the time, but I can email pics to anyone interested. Let me know, my email is ted@wenoyes.com
I love this guitar, but the neck is a boatneck and it hurts my hand...hey, what the hell, I am old with arthritis! Anyone have a period correct Tele neck they would trade for my neck or a Tele they would trade for this one? Its value is in the $2,200-$2,600 range.

Hey, The Tele is sold. Ted Good deal. Interestingly, I just talked to a guy an hour ago on the 'phone who was looking for an older Strat in Daphne Blue. In fact, it's why I came here to check because I remembered you had mentioned it here. RCE
